Coworking PLUS is excited to announce that the common European Report for FETRA project focusing on HR Management for SMEs has been published.
The project consortium carried out a State-of-the-art for FETRA, where the most important soft skills for young entrepreneurs without HR training were determined. For the purpose of the State-of-the-art, focus groups of national experts from Denmark, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Estonia in HR management were investigated and the results were included in the national reports. The results of the national report were compared, analyzed, and elaborated in the Common European Report.
From the DANISH national report, it is clear that human resource management affects the performance of employees, e.g., when staff is not motivated by the management and the conditions of the company, or when they are not given the possibility to grow professionally.
In DENMARK, participants emphasized having someone you already know provides security and peace of mind in terms of communication. Of course, this is all positive if the person is trained and has the necessary skills, as it is not about hiring someone just because they are your relative or acquaintance. Moreover, all managers strive to find the perfect candidate to be a good investment, however, in many cases, HR management could turn into an expense.
The 12 identified essential soft skills for young entrepreneurs, which will be the basis and starting point of the training of the FETRA project in Denmark are:
